Truly get away from it all in this fabulous cottage set in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The property retains a lot of the original character with exposed beams and traditional stone white-washed walls, and is furnished in soft neutral tones and blues to reflect the sea and shoreline.
The vaulted, open-plan living space offers a cool retreat from the heat on hot, summer days and features a wonderful woodburning stove for cosying up on chillier evenings.
The enclosed, south-facing front patio is a perfect suntrap, and an ideal spot to enjoy an alfresco meal. The dark skies mean that stargazing at night can be truly impressive, whilst the fire-pit keeps you warm.
The well-equipped country cottage kitchen should provide everything you need. The bedrooms are simple, stylish and comfortable. All the beds have Egyptian cotton sheets. The bathroom is a delightful place to relax and unwind, especially with its feet-warming underfloor heating!
There is a private driveway leading to the property. The cottage sits alongside a handful of other cottages at the end of the track, which winds through a working dairy farm and a horse-racing yard.
The cottage is 150 yards from the beach, via a grassy track or by following the stream-side path through the forest. The bay, which can only be approached by the general public along the coastal path or by boat, is almost private, with launching facilities by prior arrangement. The cottage does not look directly onto the beach which means that the wonderful south-facing patio is sheltered from the sea breeze.
